Scene – As The Sun Was Going Down

As The Sun Was Going Down

The scene was evolving rapidly as the sun was going down.  The hilly shore provided a nice forefront framing the placid water against the far-off stately hills.  Fortuitously a golden moment enhanced the scene when a Great Blue Heron strutted stoically into the viewfinder amongst the already-present gulls and shorebirds.  So, as the sun went down, so did this image on a piece of celluloid which changed when light and chemistry rearranged its molecular structure.
