A Quicksilver Opportunity I was reasonably sure of having good opportunities at bagging Leopard shots on our recent journey to Sri Lanka as that country harbors the most dense population of the cats globally. I also secretly hoped for a decent viewing of the predominantly solitary Sloth Bear [my second ‘wished for’ subject of the trip] … but I didn’t hold out a lot of hope regarding the latter. Then it happened. A head-on view of the bear lasting only precious seconds and affording a quicksilver opportunity for this portrait. ~ Anecdote and Sloth Bear capture, A Quicksilver Opportunity © Jerry L. Ferrara
