The Northern Hawk Owl rested on a tree limb Its journey from the taiga had been arduous The killer inside was famished Sharp orbs gleaned grassy topography They searched for furtive movements There! The attack came cloaked in deadly silence The taloned grasp brought death swiftly And then it was back to the tree to dine
